Content Removal & Takedown Policy

English  |  Chinese (Traditional)

Last updated: June 2026

1. Scope and Purpose

This policy governs requests by depicted performers — individuals who appear in audiovisual content published on an9tv.com — to have that content removed or restricted from the platform. This policy is distinct from the DMCA Copyright Takedown Policy, which addresses copyright ownership claims.

AN9 L.L.C. (operating an9tv.com) and Tsan Motion Picture Ltd. (primary producer) are committed to ensuring that all published content reflects valid, freely given, and informed consent. Where consent cannot be confirmed or has been withdrawn, content will be removed promptly.

2. Who May File a Removal Request

A removal request under this policy may be submitted by:

  • Any individual who appears in content published on an9tv.com and believes that their consent to publication was not properly obtained, has since been withdrawn, or is otherwise invalid under applicable law.
  • A legal representative acting on behalf of such an individual, upon providing proof of authority.

You do not need an account, a subscription, or legal representation to submit a request. There is no fee to file a removal request.

3. How to Submit a Removal Request

Submit your request by email to contact@an9llc.com with the subject line: Content Removal Request — Depicted Performer.

Your request should include:

  1. Your full legal name and contact email address.
  2. A description of the content in question, including the URL(s) if known.
  3. A description of the basis for the request (e.g., consent was never given, consent was given under duress, you wish to withdraw a previously given consent, your identity was used without authorization).
  4. Any supporting documentation you are able to provide (optional; will not affect our obligation to investigate).

Submission of false information in a removal request may expose the submitter to civil or criminal liability.

4. Our Review Process

Upon receiving a removal request, AN9 L.L.C. will:

  1. Acknowledge receipt within 2 business days of receiving the request.
  2. Review the request within 5 business days of receipt, consistent with the process described in our Complaints & Content Removal policy.
  3. Verify consent documentation held by Tsan Motion Picture Ltd. (Custodian of Records) to determine whether valid consent was obtained and whether the request relates to the identified content.
  4. Take action as described in Section 5 below and notify the requester of the outcome.

5. Outcomes and Actions

Following review, AN9 L.L.C. will take one of the following actions:

  • Immediate removal: If consent documentation cannot be located, cannot be verified to AN9 L.L.C.'s satisfaction, or if the consent documented is determined to be invalid or inapplicable to the content at issue, the content will be removed immediately and permanently from an9tv.com.
  • Removal pending withdrawal of consent: Any depicted performer who previously provided valid consent may withdraw that consent at any time by submitting a request under this policy. Upon receipt of a valid withdrawal, the content will be removed within 5 business days. The withdrawal of consent does not entitle the requester to compensation or to the destruction of records held by the Custodian of Records pursuant to 18 U.S.C. § 2257.
  • Retention with written explanation: If AN9 L.L.C. determines, after reasonable investigation, that valid consent was obtained and remains in effect, the content will be retained. AN9 L.L.C. will provide the requester with a written explanation of this determination.
  • Referral to neutral arbitration: Where consent is genuinely disputed between AN9 L.L.C. and the requester, the dispute will be referred to a neutral third-party body for resolution. All costs of arbitration are borne by AN9 L.L.C. The content will be temporarily removed from public access pending the outcome of arbitration.

6. Confidentiality

All removal requests and supporting materials are treated as strictly confidential. Information provided will not be disclosed to third parties except as required by law or arbitration proceedings.

7. Appeals

If you disagree with the outcome of a review, you may appeal by replying to the outcome notification or by contacting contact@an9llc.com within 30 days of the decision. Appeals are reviewed by a different member of AN9 L.L.C. management than the person who handled the original request.
